With just 10 kennels, Brown Dog, Stay is intentionally small, allowing me to provide more individualized attention and hands-on care to every guest. Six indoor/outdoor runs are available and are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. I may adjust run assignments based on each dog's individual needs, behavior, and safety. All dogs receive multiple outdoor breaks throughout the day regardless of kennel assignment.

Individual Outdoor Time
For safety and comfort, dogs are let outside individually rather than in group play sessions. Each dog receives multiple supervised opportunities throughout the day to stretch their legs, sniff, explore, and take care of business.
Owner-Operated & Onsite
I live onsite at Brown Dog, Stay, allowing me to provide attentive, hands-on care and keep a close eye on the dogs and facility around the clock.
Multiple Dogs
Dogs from the same household may share accommodations when appropriate and at my discretion. Accommodations are assigned based on each dog’s individual needs, safety, and availability.
Households boarding three or more dogs receive a 10% discount on their total boarding stay.

Cats must arrive in a secure carrier or kennel for their safety during drop-off and pick-up.
Dogs: Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella are required.
Leptospirosis (Lepto): Recommended, but not required. I encourage owners to discuss Lepto vaccination with their veterinarian based on their dog’s individual lifestyle and risk factors.
Puppies: Puppies must have completed their initial puppy vaccination series and received their Rabies vaccination before boarding. A 7-day waiting period after vaccination is required before boarding.
Senior & Medical Exceptions:
Senior dogs and dogs with medical conditions that may affect vaccination decisions may be considered on an individual basis. A veterinarian's recommendation or written documentation may be requested.
Cats: Rabies and FVRCP are required.
Current vaccination records are required prior to boarding.
All dogs and cats must be current on flea and tick prevention.
Required Forms
A completed Owner & Pet Information Form and Boarding Agreement & Liability Waiver are required for all new guests.
Because Brown Dog, Stay is owner-operated, I do not have set walk-in hours for drop-off or pick-up. All drop-offs and pick-ups are scheduled in advance with each client. Appointments are available during normal daytime and evening hours, with times coordinated based on availability. Please contact me to arrange a time that works well for you and your pet.
Holiday Boarding
I offer a $50/day holiday rate for dogs and a $40/day holiday rate for cats during the following holiday periods:
Holiday rates apply only to the nights that fall within these designated holiday periods. All other nights are charged at the regular boarding rate.
Trial Stay
New to Brown Dog, Stay? I like to get to know each new dog before their first extended stay. Depending on the dog and your situation, this may be a short visit, daytime stay, or overnight stay. Trial stays are charged at the regular boarding rate for the type and length of stay. I'll work with you to determine what makes the most sense for your dog!
Pick-Up
Pick-up is by 9 AM on the scheduled departure date. Pick-ups after 9 AM may be subject to an additional day of boarding.
Kennel Tours
First-time clients are welcome to request a tour of the facility before your pet's stay. Tours are available by appointment to ensure that I am able to give you my full attention while keeping my guests comfortable and secure.
Payment
For first-time guests, payment in full is due at drop-off. After your first stay, you're welcome to use standard payment arrangements. I accept cash and check.
